Prior to filling containers with product, they must be rinsed to minimize the foreign particulate present inside. Utilizing side gripping technology, the rinser will invert each container and based on the rinsing medium, introduce a spray of water, air or ionized air to remove residuals, preparing the container for the filling process. Rinsers can also be configured in conjunction with a “lowerator” style of equipment which conveys containers from a higher point (typically a depalletizer outfeed elevation) to a lower height where floor-level processing occurs.
